I just released a new version of the aREST library for Arduino, which is now in version 2.0.1. Compared to the latest stable release, this new version adds a major new feature: cloud access to your aREST projects from anywhere in the world!

Using this new version of the library, you can now access your projects even outside of your local network by using the API available at cloud.arest.io. Simply have a look at the aREST examples and at the tutorials on this website to learn more about it.

For now, this feature is still in beta, and limited to the ESP8266 WiFi chip. However, support for the Arduino Ethernet shield, CC3000 chip & later Raspberry Pi are coming as well.

As usual, you can get the library by visiting the dedicated GitHub repository.
